It provides security and confidence to users by ensuring that their emails do not contain threats or waste their time every day. Nevertheless, we will try to resolve some possible doubts about this great filtering service.

1.- How long does it take to set up the SPAMTER® solution? Is it necessary to install any software?

The SPAMTER® solution is implemented just a few minutes after the user’s contract is signed and payment is made. However, since its implementation requires the modification of your DNS, a total configuration time of 24 hours can be expected, linked to the propagation of the DNS change at an international level to ensure that all emails are filtered through Aclass’ SPAMTER®. The SPAMTER® system does not require any software.
2.- WHAT IS THE RATE OF SPAM EFFECTIVELY DETECTED BY SPAMTER®?
The measured rate on our platform is currently 95.7%. In addition, our company is committed to constantly reviewing the quality of the service, ensuring a low rate of spam and false positives (legitimate messages interpreted as spam).
3.- Does SPAMTER® increase the delivery time of legitimate emails?
As a general rule, messages arrive as quickly as ever. They go through SPAMTER® and are sent to your company’s mail server immediately, without delays.
4.- WHAT DOES "FALSE POSITIVE" EXACTLY MEAN?
A false positive is a legitimate message that is incorrectly identified as spam by an anti-spam solution. The false positive rate is the most important criterion for evaluating an anti-spam solution. This is why SPAMTER® was designed to minimize the false positive rate as much as possible.
5.- HOW TO BE SURE THAT AN IMPORTANT EMAIL IS NOT ACCIDENTALLY SENT AS SPAM WHEN USING SPAMTER® SOLUTION?
This refers to the difficulty of managing false positives. The antispam and antivirus software of SPAMTER® addresses this issue on three fronts:

1- By minimizing the false positive rate as much as possible,
2- By ensuring that, in the case of a false positive, the sender is intelligently informed that the email did not reach its recipient,
3- By allowing the user to view the history of processed messages through the administration interface or through the daily summary notification of the logs to identify and resend possible false positives.

6.- WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE SPAMTER® SERVERS?
Any SPAMTER® client uses multiple SPAMTER® servers to ensure high availability in case of an issue with one of the servers. Additionally, SPAMTER® servers are located in different geographical sites to anticipate any Internet connection or other issues.
7.- WHAT HAPPENS IF MY OWN EMAIL SERVER IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SEVERAL HOURS?
SPAMTER® ensures retention of pending emails for delivery for up to 4 days. Your server can remain inactive for more than 96 hours without any issues. Above this delay, an error message will be sent to the senders.
8.- WHAT IS THE INTEREST OF USING AN EXTERNAL ASP SOLUTION (PSA SERVICE PROVIDER OF APPLICATIONS) SUCH AS SPAMTER®?
The benefits are multiple: on one hand, you avoid saturating your internet connection with illicit emails, and on the other hand, you don’t have to worry about anything: there’s no need to perform any installation or update. SPAMTER® integrates analysis techniques to detect spam in English, which represents more than 85% of spam. It also detects spam in French, Spanish, and German that are not taken into account by solutions based in the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, or India.
9.- CAN WE INSTALL SPAMTER® ON OUR COMPANY EMAIL SERVER?
The SPAMTER® solution is exclusively offered in ASP mode, it is not possible to install SPAMTER® anti-spam servers within your company.
10.- WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE SPAMTER® SERVICE CONTRACT, CAN WE CANCEL IT AT ANY TIME?
SPAMTER® does not require any commitment, it will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis, and this is our best guarantee. The contract can be terminated at any time by sending an email to admin@aclass.es with a notice period of 15 days prior to the desired cancellation date.
11.- IS THE USE OF THE SPAMTER® SOLUTION BY MY COMPANY TRANSPARENT TO MY SENDERS' EMAILS?
The SPAMTER® antispam and antivirus solution is completely transparent to the sender of messages addressed to you. At the level of your DNS, the SPAMTER® servers are configured as email servers for your company, which will then forward legitimate emails to your actual email servers.
12.- SPAMTER® IS AN OUTSOURCED SOLUTION, WHERE DO MY COMPANY'S EMAILS GO AND COME FROM? HOW IS THE SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF OUR EMAILS GUARANTEED?
All SPAMTER® servers are physically located in data centers in Europe. The servers are highly protected to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of your electronic communication. All messages that are received encrypted will remain encrypted through SSL/TLS methodology. In addition, confidentiality is guaranteed by the client contract and an LSSI-CE agreement.

13.- IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE A DOMAIN NAME?
Yes, the solution is only available for entities or individuals with their own domain name and access to the DNS of that domain. If you do not have a domain name, ACLASS® can help you register a domain name under your name.
14.- I USE AN EMAIL SERVER PROVIDED BY AN EXTERNAL WEB HOSTING PROVIDER. CAN I STILL USE SPAMTER®?
Yes. You can benefit from the SPAMTER® antispam and antivirus service whether your email server is hosted by a third party, you are using shared hosting services, or it is located in your own office.
15.- WHAT ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES DOES SPAMTER® USE TO FILTER MESSAGES?
SPAMTER® is based on an extremely sophisticated email scoring process. This scoring process uses multiple analysis techniques, including RBL (blacklists), heuristic analysis, Bayesian method, spam databases, URL checking, DNS record checking, and email body content analysis.
16.- WHAT IS THE COST OF THE SPAMTER® SOLUTION?
